Ils is a 2006 French-Romanian horror film directed by David Moreau and Xavier Palud.

Based on real events, this film tells the story of Lucas and Clementine, an idyllic couple who have moved recently from France to live peacefully in their remote country house in Bucharest, Romania. But one night they wake up to strange noise and find themselves terrorised by hooded assailants. Will they survive the night….

Martyrs is a 2008 film from Pascal Laugier. Lucie embarks on a bloody revenge against those who abducted and tortured her 15 years earlier when she was only 12 years old. Prepare for a frigtening trip into Lucie’s memories, delusions and madness!

Haute Tension is from director Alexander Aja, originally released in 2003. Alexia and her friend, Marie, travel to spend a couple of days with Alexia’s family in their farmhouse in the country. Late in the night, a sadistic killer breaks in, slaughtering the family and kidnaping Alexia. Marie is able to hide from the killer and then tries to help her friend in a manic chase.
