In San Sebastián you have the chance to improve your Spanish via exchanges with an Intercambio. These exchanges are organised meetings between foreign students and native Spanish speaking students so both parts can practice another language. For example: you may spend one hour in a café, where you speak English half the time and Spanish the other half.

Other activities
Scuba-diving
Scuba diving and snorkeling are popular activities and there are great spots to do both. Check out the capes of Matxitxako, Villano and Ogono and the Gipuzkoa and Igeldo areas. There are a number of dive shops in San Sebastián where you can hire equipment and enroll in open-water diving courses.
Mountain biking and hiking
Whether you prefer exploring on foot or by bike, the mountains of the Basque Country have a great deal of stunning scenery to cover. Follow the colour-coded trail markers and set off for a short hike or bike along the nearby mountain trails. For those looking for a bit more altitude, you can head for the highest summit in the area called Aitxuri, 1551 m, on the Aizkorri massif.
Skiing and climbing
San Sebastián is about an hour and a half by car from the Pyrenees, a stunning mountain range which acts as the natural boundary between Spain and France. During the winter your school arranges skiing trips to the nearby ski resorts. Skis, boards and all other necessary equipment is included.
Gym
If you feel like going to the gym, the Mundáiz Gym, next to the school, offers our students preferential rates.
