Our courses are filling up fast so here is a reminder to those of you who have shown an interest to book now before it's too late!
Our classic winter courses begin January 17 and you can choose to study from two weeks up to 15 weeks. Choose as well between three options of accommodation – private studio accommodation, private room or shared room in an apartment – all within walking distance of the school and the central ski lifts.
Other happenings at Insted
Avalanche and glacier rescue course
Every year at the beginning of the semester, internationally certified UIAGM mountain guide Pelle Bagewitz holds an avalanche and glacier seminar at the school. Pelle will give you useful advice on how to stay safe in the mountains this winter. In addition to the seminar Insted students can sign up for a two-day glacier and avalanche rescue course. Don't miss this great opportunity!
Ski trip to Courmayeur, Italy
Chamonix is situated right on the boarder of Italy only 25 minutes away by bus. Insted students have the chance to ski at the neighboring ski resort of Courmayeur where homemade pasta, 5-star espresso and all-time people watching are as an important part of your day as the phenomenal skiing. Insted organizes student trips to Courmayeur which of course includes the Italian aprés ski-experience with its famous aperitivo.
Alpine Yoga and pilates classes
A clear mind and a strong body are key elements to making the most of your winter in Chamonix and yoga is a great way to ensure both. Alpine Yoga give daily yoga and pilates classes at Insted throughout the winter. Insted students get special discounts!
