Formation Professionnelle

If you live in France and pay French taxes your course could be subsidized up to 100% by the government through Formation Professionnelle.
What is formation professionnelle?
Formation professionnelle enables you to use grants from the French government to pay for your language studies. Languages courses in Chamonix are a high priority and could be subsidised up to 100%.
Who can apply and what is needed?
Grants are available to any person of any profession who pays taxes in France. Typically, a self-employed person or company owner has 800€ in training grants available each year to use towards language studies. Employees are eligible from 400€ to 2000€ for a course.
Application procedure
Insted can assist you with the application process for a cost of 50€ per application or you can complete the application yourself by following the instructions below.
We advise you to send in the application at least 30 days before the start of the course.
Self employed or company owner
1. Find out which Caisse de Formation you belong to. You can contact the Chambre de Commerce et D’industrie in your area or ask your accountant for the information.
2. Contact your Caisse de Formation to order an application form called “Dossier de prise en charge”.
3. As self-employed / company owner you will need to enclose a letter from URSSAF called “Attestation de versement”. If you do not have this document contact URSSAF and have them send you the attestation.
4. Contact Insted and we will help you with the setup of a course perfectly suited to your needs, and give you the necessary documents needed from the school.
5. Send in the completed application to the Caisse de Formation.
6. Within four weeks you will receive a letter that will tell you how much you will be refunded after you have completed the course.
7. Book your Insted course and pay the fee.
8. After you have completed the course you will need to send in an “Attestation de presence”, together with the invoice, which shows you have attended and completed the course.
9. You will receive the reimbursement within two to six weeks after completion of the course.
Employed with a French company?
1. Ask your manager or the accountant of the company to order an application form called “Dossier de prise en charge” from the Caisse de formation you belong to.
2. Contact Insted and we will help you with the setup of a course perfectly suited to your needs, and give you the necessary documents needed from the school.
3. Give the documents to the manager or the accountant of the company and they will send in the application to the Caisse de Formation.
4. Within four weeks you will receive a letter that will tell you how much you will be refunded after you have completed the course.
5. Book your INSTED course and pay the fee.
6. After you have completed the course you will need to send in an attestation de presence, together with the invoice, that shows you have attended and completed the course.
7. You / the company will receive the refund two to three weeks after completion of the course.

• Formulaire de prise en charge – Ask your manager which Caisse de Formation you belong to and ask them to acquire the form.
