At Insted Chamonix we offer a range of French language courses, from beginners, to intensive, business or tailor-made. Select from semester programmes or shorter periods. Study classes traditionally average between 16–18 students in winter and 12-16 during the rest of the year.
French
French Standard Intensive courses are held Monday through Friday. Twenty 45-minute lessons per week alternate between morning and afternoon in the winter, and mornings only for the remainder of the year.
Our Winter Evening course start on February 1st. The course is held twice a week for 8 weeks, tuesday and thursday or wednesday and friday, depending on your level. You can make your booking online. Enrolment fee is 50 euros.

Tailor-Made and Private French
Tailor-made and Private French courses can be built with you in order to achieve your specific goals. The set up, intensity and course length will be adapted to your schedule. Price from 55 euros per hour, 45 euros if you are already signed in to intensive courses and need extra support lessons.
Introduction in Tourism French
This course is set up for you who have got a seasonal job in town, or are planning to apply for one and need to learn or freshen up your language level. We help you with a pre seasonal language course here in Chamonix.
English
While studying English at Insted you will improve your ability to express yourself and to understand English. You will gain insight into the language with intensive grammar training, a sound basis of vocabulary and idiom, improved pronunciation and spoken skills, and of course, improve your ability to read and write.
A wide range of methods are used to build your conversation, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar and linguistic structure. Newspapers, commercials, works by English authors and video recordings are key supplements to the course literature. As the class progresses, more time is spent on conversational exercises and subjects such as society and politics.
Intensive English Classes are scheduled Monday to friday 9:00 - 11:00 am, or in the afternoon 16:00 - 18:00. Semi-intensive English Classes are scheduled four hours per week given two mornings (10:00 – 12:00) or two afternoons (16:00 – 18:00) per week. For enrollments, please contact Insted directly.
