Insted has perfected their unique concept of combining a language course with your favorite sports activity. The school was established in Sweden in 1997 with the concept to provide high quality language courses at locations that offer active and exciting leisure activities. Insted was convinced that it would be possible for students to combine their academic work with adventures in the high altitude surroundings of Chamonix. Today we know that this is a highly successful combination. For several years our students have proved that you can develop solid French skills at the same time as you improve as a skier, snowboarder or climber.

Over the years we have expanded the concept to include French & Surfing in Biarritz and Spanish & Surfing in San Sebastián and Tenerife. We are confident you will enjoy this combination of lifestyle as well.

Adam Jorlén and Niclas Sundkvist founded the company in Sweden in 1997 with the concept of providing high-quality studies in exciting places. The school is now owned by Anna Norén and Linda Larsson.
