Stay for a semester, or choose a shorter weekly course. Please note: If you are a complete beginner, please contact us for advice on suitable start dates. No matter what level you're at, we'll do our best to accommodate you. Public holidays: April 25, July 14, Aug 15 and Nov 1 (school closed - no classes, no refunds). In addition to prices below, there is an inscription/enrollment fee of 50 €.

Our Standard Intensive courses run Monday to Friday all year round, except for a few weeks in May, June and November.
There are twenty 45-minute lessons per week. During winter there is a rotating schedule of mornings (09.00-12.15) and afternoons (14.30-17.45) For the rest of the year it is just the morning (09.00-12.15). Group sizes vary between 15 to max 20 during winter and around 10 to 15 for the rest of the year.

Summer 2012, 18 Juni-14 September

Combine a French course with mountain-biking, climbing or hiking. Study from two to 13 weeks.

Autumn 2012, 17 September-2 November

Autumn is low-season in Chamonix. Study from two to 7 weeks and combine a course with mountain-biking, climbing or hiking.

 

December 2012, 26 November-21 December   

Leading up to Christmas is a great time to visit Chamonix as it generally more quiet and relaxed and you have the opportunity to ski without waiting in line. Study from 2 to 4 weeks.

 

Classic winter season 2012, 16 January-4 May

The winter course from January to May is Insted's most popular course. Many students choose to spend a 15 week season studying French and combine it with skiing and snowboarding. Book from two to 15 weeks.

For students who are working or cannot commit to a daily intensive course we offer evening courses twice a week 18:00-20:00. Minimum course length is 6 weeks.
Evening courses cover the same periods as our Standard Intensive courses.

Cutomized private courses are developed towards your specific needs and goals. The material, intensity and course length will be adapted to your schedule. Price: from 55 euros per hour and only 45 euros per hour if you are already enrolled into an intensive course and need extra support.

This course has been developed for those of you planning to work in Chamonix. We offer a pre-seasonal language course aimed at beginners and for those who need to brush up on their language skills. 

Insted Chamonix France is presenting a 1-2 week intensive programme that profoundly enriches participants’ teaching and cultural expertise. The program includes lessons given Monday to Friday 08.30-12.30, and two workshops given evenings 18.00-20.00. Group size from 5 to 14 participants.
