Our brave Overland students are through a very wet and stormy weekend here in Chamonix and are still smiling! Luckily, Saturday and Sunday were very sunny and warm in the daytime so the hikes to the Argentiere Glacier and the Tete du Grand Chantet were glorious.

Clement and Karine have been busy helping the students in their group make their very own blog. You can see the results here:  https://jemappellechamonix.tumblr.com/

On Monday morning, all the students were out of the rain and in the warmth of the classroom having their French lessons.

For the afternoon, Tristan and Emilie went with their group up to the Animal Park at Merlet. They saw all the animals there and had a great hike.

Karine had a very interesting lesson with her students learning about the ‘Malabar Princess’ the movie based on a true story, set right here in Chamonix! The Malabar Princess was an Indian plane that crashed into the Les Bossons Glacier in the 1950’s.

The sun will return tomorrow and we are in for a warm end to the week. The groups are off to Lake Annecy so we will update you with their progress from there!
