Booking

To book a language course and accommodation please fill out the booking form online. Once we have received your booking form and your booking fee we will send you a confirmation by email. Note that the minimum age is 18 years if you travel alone. We will accept 16 and 17-year-old students with the consent of a legal gaurdian.

It is possible to enrol up until the day the course starts. However, space is limited and enrolment is on a first-come-first-served basis.

Payment & Booking fees

The booking fee is a deposit payment of the total amount. The booking fee is deducted from the total price of your booking when making the final payment.  The outstanding balance for students is due four weeks before the course start / moving-in date. For accommodation bookings only, the outstanding balance is due six weeks before moving in.

Bookings of courses and accommodation for students, made less than four weeks prior to the start of the course will need to send the full payment directly. Bookings of accommodations for non studentes made less than six weeks prior to moving in date will need to send the full payment directly.

Change or Cancellation

It is possible to change a booking, but any cancellation or change of booking must be made in writing to Insted (285 rue des Allobroges, 74400 Chamonix, France).

The booking fee is always forfeited if you cancel a booking. If you have booked a course and accommodation, and wish to cancel only the accommodation four weeks before moving in date, the cancellation fee will still be charged. If a cancellation is made less than four weeks before your course starts all course fee and rent are forfeited.

Cancellation Insurance

We offer an optional cancellation insurance for 50€. Find Insted’s general conditions for more information on the insurance and changes.

Note that the insurance is valid until a day before the course starts and until a day before you move into the apartment. The cancellation insurance is limited to the event of serious illness, accident or death to you or your family (husband/wife, child, brother/sister, parents), which prevents you from studying abroad. A doctor’s certificate will be required.
