Insted language school in Chamonix

Insted (Institute of Foreign Education) is originally a Swedish language school with a strong connection to the Alps. Insted was founded in 1999, and from the very start we have made it possible for Scandinavian students to combine French language courses with various mountain sports. In the early days the focus was mainly on skiing since the school was only open during the winter season. Today however, we run the language school all year round and students can enjoy outside school activities like climbing, mountain biking and hiking during the summer and autumn seasons. We have shown that the combination of language courses and sports is beneficial to your learning process. More than 3000 students have studied at Insted and several of our staff began their adventure in Chamonix by attending a French course.

Since 2021 Insted’s new partner, KLF French as a Foreign Language group, has made it possible for Insted to continue to offer our students a high quality language program and a possibility to combine studies online as well as attending immersion courses in Chamonix, Annecy and Montpellier.
