The progress of each student
is evaluated with several tests of different types
during his or her stay in San Sebastián.
After completing the course you will receive an
attestation, which will record; the type of course
you have taken, duration, your language level
at the end of the course and number of hours.
SEMESTER PROGRAMS. If
you follow our semester program, a final test
will be organised at the end of your stay. This
test will cover all areas that your class have
studied during the semester. A final grade will
be calculated based on your work during the semester
and the final tests.
CREDITS.
Certain courses can be authenticated into credits
- for example American and ECTS, European Credit
Transfer System. We are more than willing to provide
your home university with an Official Transcript
and required course information in order to grant
academic credit for your course.
Students
who wish to receive American credits for the program
should contact the Study Abroad Office or Spanish
language department at your college or university
prior to starting the program. Present your plan
to them asking for detailed requirements on how
to arrange credit in advance. With the detailed
information from your home-campus, we can typically
provide all documentation to complete arrangements.

| WHAT
IS THE DELE? |
|
DELE stands for Diploma de Español
como Lengua Extranjera, or Spanish as a
Foreign Language Diploma. It is the only
certificate for non-native Spanish speakers that
is officially recognised by the Spanish Ministry
of Education, Culture and Sport.
This diploma is of great inter- national value
for those who are going to study at a Spanish
University and who want to work, or are going
to work in a Spanish speaking country environment.
The DELE test is organised in San
Sebastián three times per year - in May,
August and November.
