INSTED MOVES TO THE AUSTRIAN ALPS AND EXPANDS IN FRANCE

The language education provider INSTED extends its concept aimed at students wishing to combine language studies with skiing and surfing. During 2007 the company will expand to two new places in Europe – the ski resort and powder snow heaven St. Anton in Austria and the classic surf town Biarritz in France.

Adam Jorlén, Director of INSTED, explains: ”Our new German language school in St. Anton am Arlberg is the result of a merger with the language school Altitude Studies. They have given German courses in St. Anton since 2004, in co-operation with Leopold-Franzens Universität, who is considered as being in the forefront in this field in Austria.”

The German language course will stretch over the whole ski season in the Alps from January to May. At the end of the course the students have the possibility to take the internationally recognised German language test ÖSD.

In 2007 INSTED will also start to offer courses in Biarritz at the French Atlantic coast, which makes it possible for language students to combine their French studies with surfing. Adam Jorlén continues: ”Many of our students in Chamonix Mont-Blanc would like to stay in France for a couple of months after the language course and ski season in the Alps is over. Now they can continue their studies in Biarritz and by doing so they get the perfect spring semester which includes both skiing and surfing”.
