INSTED's language school in Chamonix
is an alpine branch of Université Stendhal
in Grenoble. All students in Chamonix are registered
at this university. The language courses are given
by their institution for French as a foreign language,
Centre Universitaire d'Etudes Françaises
(CUEF).
The methods used in Chamonix
are also used by CUEF in Grenoble. The extensive
know-how of the university is reflected in Chamonix.
Our teachers are in daily contact with Grenoble
to provide feedback and to discuss the activities
in Chamonix.
CUEF is responsible for all teaching, planning
and examination of our courses in Chamonix. All
certificates that are given in Chamonix are issued
by the university in Grenoble.
THE CUEF CENTRE has more
than 100 years of experience in teaching French
to foreign students and is considered one of the
most important language centres in France. As
a leading member of the quality organisation ADCUEFE,
they do not only follow the guiding principles
and standards for French language teaching - they
are active in leading the development.
Each year the CUEF presents new
teaching methods and course literature which is
commonly used in and outside of France.

progress Every
year we compare the school to the results that are
achieved at the university in Grenoble, and we always
establish the fact that the students in Chamonix
progress at the same rate as those who studied in
Grenoble.
