In Biarritz INSTED co-operates with the well renowned French language school BLS, which is registered by the Rectorate of Bordeaux (French Ministry of Education).

BLS is a member of SOUFFLE, which is a quality control organisation for French language schools and universities in France. The 18 members of SOUFFLE have all signed up to a Quality Charter and undergo regular inspections to guarantee the best quality assurance for French language learning whether aimed at beginners, improvers, teachers, young people or mature students.

All the teachers at BLS have a university diploma that makes them qualified to teach French to foreign students (Diplômes de Français Langue Etrangère) and have an excellent knowledge of French culture and civilisation.

Many of the BLS teachers have lived and taught French abroad and speak several languages, therefore relating easily to different cultures.
